Museum of Archaeology

Copan, Honduras – The Museum of Archaeology is an exploration of the relationship of building within the landscape, particularly through the notion of revealing the content beneath depositional layers as a means of discovery. The project posits itself within the principals of the ancient Mayan ruins and their seamless implementation of urban and domestic space within the natural environment.
